What I do and Why I do it

What I do and Why I do it

It starts with us. I cannot stress enough how important research is. Check your sources, do your own research. This page is here to provide you with thought provoking information. Before you ever start any herbal medications always consult your doctors first. Things as simple as mint and lavender can be deadly to the right person at the wrong time. This is not medical advice. This is facts and theories and conversation on the medicinal benefits of herbs.

Thanks for being here. Hippie and Happy is my safe place.  My home away from home. Here we talk honestly about all things natural from herbal remedies to moon phases to meditation to magic. Now you may ask yourself, how exactly is magic natural. Well, the magic in nature, is that nature is magic. The hippie in me recognizes the earth and how it truly does provide so much help in helping us heal ourselves.

I have found, after so many damn years (going on 13), that I still don't know anything and there's always so much more to explore. There is just so information to explore on herbalism and yet never enough. No two bodies are the same and what works for one may not work for the other due to underlying causes and various other reasons.

Meditation and self care is important for everyone starting their healing journey. Whether it's physical or emotional we all need some time to step back and evaluate. Don't worry if you can't meditate. My version of meditation is not like everyone else. You know when you can't quiet your brain down?  Try chasing it. That's right let your thoughts wander think about that list let it bring your thought process to wherever it needs to go. I see meditation as sitting down with my thoughts so that I can get my mental "list" in order.

We're all here in find comfort in the mundane BS that is life at times. Stick around for the real, uncut, honest version of me that you probably don't see much on social media. So, come honestly and respectfully (we're talking to you keyboard warriors) and bring all your though provoking ideas. We go by the "Take No Shit, Do No Harm" theory.

Feel free to browse the shop for some of my favorite products.
